Australia's Multicultural Framework Review
The first comprehensive report into Australia’s Multicultural Framework was done by Prime Minister Gough Whitlam 50 years ago. It is time to ensure that policies are still fit for purpose.
The Albanese Government has opened consultation on the draft terms of reference for a review into Australia’s Multicultural Framework.
The Review will ensure the Australian Government can continue to promote multiculturalism across Australia by examining institutional and policy settings.
“Australia’s greatest strength is our multicultural society, and it is vital that we can continue to support inclusion and cohesion across Australia,” said Ms Anne Stanley MP.
“The Albanese Government’s review will ensure that all Australians can benefit from our continued success so that no one is left behind.”
Consultations close on the 19 March 2023.
