The Albanese Labor Government supports President Biden's recent ceasefire proposal and calls on all parties to agree to a ceasefire.
"The suffering in Gaza must end. This war must end. There must be an immediate ceasefire in Gaza" said Ms Anne Stanley MP, Member for Werriwa.
Six months ago, Australia voted with 152 countries for a ceasefire at the United Nations, and today Australia continues to work with the international community to press all parties to agree to the terms of the most recent ceasefire proposal.
"A humanitarian ceasefire is necessary to protect civilians and to address the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Gaza" said Ms Stanley MP.
