Grants to Commemorate Veterans' Service Now Available

Organisations and community groups in Werriwa can now apply for the latest round of Saluting Their Service Grants.

Funding is available to support a wide range of projects, including new memorials, restoration of existing memorials, exhibitions, digital projects such as podcasts and documentaries, and publications.

“Our community has a strong tradition of service and I encourage all local groups who may be considering an Australian military history project to apply for a Saluting Their Service grant” said Ms Stanley.

The Saluting Their Service grants are open all year with applications available in three batches, meaning organisations can apply at any time during the year. Applications for the current batch close on 11 October.

Community Grants of up to $10,000 are available for community-based commemorative projects and activities, while Major Grants of up to $150,000 are available for initiatives that are significant from a national, state, territory or regional perspective.

For more information, visit the Department of Veterans’ Affairs website or the GrantConnect website.
